MONDAY

Depart from local pick up points and travel to Dover for our crossing to Calais. Continue through France and into Luxembourg to our well appointed hotel.

TUESDAY

Join us this morning for a short guided walking tour of Vianden, located on the banks of the River Our and set amongst magnificent scenery. This ancient seat of the Counts of Vianden, is a Medieval town with narrow lanes, ramparts and fortified towers together with an impressive castle spectacularly perched on the rocks above. Afterwards we rejoin the coach and take you for the short drive to visit Vianden Castle. We will then once again rejoin our coach and make the short journey to the enchanting town of Clervaux with time to explore.

WEDNESDAY

After breakfast today we drive to the capital of this small country – Luxembourg. On arrival we meet a local guide who will join our coach to give us a guided tour of the many highlights of this great city. Afterwards you will have free time to admire this mixture of ancient fortresses and contemporary architecture coupled with beautifully landscaped green parklands and gardens. On our return journey we make a stop at the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial.

THURSDAY

Today you have the choice of joining us on an optional excursion or to exploring a little more of Vianden on your own. Our optional excursion takes us over the border and to one of Germany’s most beautiful cities – Trier. Trier is one of the oldest cities in Germany and you will get a chance to stroll through the impressive market square or taste some of the exquisite Moselle wine. On our return we make a stop at Grevenmacher – a picturesque old town and important wine growing region set on the beautiful River Mosel. £25

FRIDAY

After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a full day scenic tour by coach travelling through the region known as “Little Switzerland”. We will visit the quaint market town of Larochette which lies within a narrow rock valley and the enchanting Schiessentumpel Waterfalls, one of the most photographed areas in the region. We also visit the oldest town in Luxembourg, Echternach with its Medieval streets and ancient city walls. We end the day with a visit to the Medieval town of Beafort.

SATURDAY

After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach and start our journey back towards Calais. En route we stop at Ostend, for a little time to explore and purchase lunch before continuing back to Dorset via the channel.

BEAMISH AND THE NORTHUMBRIAN COAST

THURSDAY

Depart from local pick up points and continue North to our hotel on the outskirts of Newcastle.

FRIDAY

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and make our way to Beamish, an extensive open-air museum that recreates working life in the North East from Victorian times through to the 1940’s. It has a high street with many shops, colliery, coal pit village and even a farm. You will also find guides in period costume and even a tram to take you around !

SATURDAY

We rejoin the coach after breakfast for another exciting day, first we visit Durham – why not visit its fine Norman cathedral, castle, museums, galleries, river walks or even the Victorian Market. Later we drive to a spectacular waterfall. High Force is said to be one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the North. There is also a gift shop and hotel, serving refreshments.

An optional excursion will be offered this evening to Northumberlandia, a unique piece of art with the centre piece being a lady made from 1.5 million tons of rock. £5

SUNDAY

Today you have a choice of relaxing in the hotel, wandering around the village, catching a local bus into Newcastle or joining us on an exciting optional excursion to the Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Here you can marvel at the remains of the 11th Century Priory made famous by St Aidan, St Cuthbert and the Lindisfarne Gospels or visit the castle and browse the many gift shops or enjoy a leisurely lunch while soaking up the incredible scenery. We return via the scenic coastal route where you will get views of Bamburgh Castle and we make a stop at beautiful Seahouses, a colourful fishing village. Here you will have time to wander along the harbour with spectacular views of the Farne Islands, and explore the many independent shops or even sip a pint of Farne Island Ale in a beer garden overlooking the Island. Also keep a look out for seals. £25

We leave our hotel and start our return journey back towards Dorset with suitable comfort stops en route.

TUESDAY

Depart from local pick up points and travel North towards Liverpool, en route we make a stop at Anderton Boat Lift, an incredible feat of Victorian engineering. We will take an incredible journey on the very unique boat lift and learn more about the industrial heritage of Northwick – a town that has made its living from salt for over 2000 years. We will then continue to our hotel.

WEDNESDAY

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and head to the historic village of Port Sunlight. One of Britain’s most unique villages with a variety of magnificent buildings. Built at the end of the 19th century for home to the workers of the nearby Lever factory. The village is the work of over 30 architects and really is totally unique. First we visit the Port Sunlight Museum to learn more about this fascinating place then we rejoin our coach with a local guide to explore the village. We will also make a short stop at Birkenhead Priory, the oldest standing building in Merseyside. From here we continue to Ness Botanic Gardens – lovely gardens overlooking the Dee Estuary. We then return to the hotel and give you the opportunity to visit the Albert Docks.

THURSDAY

After breakfast today we rejoin our coach and head towards Manchester to learn a little more about the famous Manchester Ship Canal which runs between Manchester and Liverpool. It is known as one of the 7 man made wonders of the world. We first head to Salford and a chance to see the start of the canal. After some free time to explore we meet a local guide who joins our coach as we explore a little more of the history of Manchester, including all about the cotton trade. You will have some free time in Manchester before going to our final stop at Ena Mill, a retail complex in a beautiful restored mill.

FRIDAY

After breakfast today we leave the hotel for our return journey to Dorset.

SUNDAY

After pick ups we will drive towards Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare arriving in Waterford in time for dinner.

MONDAY

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and make our way along the coastal route with a stop in the beautiful city of Cork. Like Venice Cork is built on water, with the main centre being on an island on the river Lee. Don’t miss visiting St Anne’s Church with its 300-year-old bells, St Fin Barre’s Cathedral with its three French Gothic spires. Later we continue to our excellent hotel in the beautiful town of Bantry.

TUESDAY

We rejoin our coach after breakfast for a scenic drive around the beautiful Beara Peninsula. We will first stop at the picturesque village of Glengariff, at the end of Bantry Bay. It’s one of the oldest tourist destinations in Ireland with a beautiful harbour and spectacular views in every direction. We regroup at the pier and join the ferry to travel to Garnish Island, world renowned for its magnificent gardens and collection of unique and rare plants. We go via Seal Island, where you will get a chance to meet a seal colony.

WEDNESDAY

Today you will have a choice of either staying in Bantry or coming with us on an optional half day excursion to Mizen Head, a dramatic outcrop of rocks and the most south-westerly point in Ireland. We will stop here for a couple of hours to take photos and give you a chance to visit the visitor centre and Signal Station with its impressive footbridge. In good weather it is often possible to see seals, dolphins and even whales from the coast. You will have the afternoon to yourself to explore Bantry. £15

THURSDAY

Today we rejoin our coach for a visit to the beautiful town of Killarney, we also include an amazing journey on a jaunting car (horse and cart) and a scenic boat cruise on Lough Leane. Killarney is brimming full of history, heritage and world class hospitality and is often referred to as a “Very Special Place”.

FRIDAY

Sadly today we leave our home for the last few days and head back towards our overnight stop, but en route we make a visit to the famous Jameson’s Experience, housed in the Old Middleton Brewery. Later we continue to Waterford, with free time to explore before heading to our overnight hotel in Wexford.

SATURDAY

Today we make our way to Rosslare for our ferry back to Pembroke and retrace our steps back to Dorset.

Depart from local pick up points and continue for a visit to Packwood House – a well restored Tudor house with a large range of 16th century textiles and furniture. The gardens are renowned for their herbaceous borders and famous collection of Yews. We then continue to the well located Bosworth Hall Hotel.

FRIDAY

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and make our way to Charlecote Park, overlooking the River Avon on the edge of Shakespeare’s Stratford. A beautiful country home that has been in the same family for over 900 years. Later we drive into Stratford-upon-Avon with time for you to look around. This evening after dinner we have arranged a history talk about our hotel the Bosworth Hall for those interested.

SATURDAY

Today you have a choice, perhaps relax in the hotel, wander into Market Bosworth for a spot of lunch or take advantage of the leisure facilities within the hotel or join us on an optional excursion visiting Lichfield, Staffordshire’s premier heritage city. Why not visit the beautiful 800-year-old cathedral, heritage centre or spend some time exploring some of the many shops and cafes. Later we take you to feed some pigs and visit the famous green fairies of Lichfield. £20

We rejoin our coach after breakfast and travel to Coughton Court, a fabulous Tudor property set in beautiful gardens with a collection of Catholic treasures. In the afternoon we join the coach and travel to Baddesley Clinton. Here you will discover a secluded, intimate estate set in the heart of the forest of Arden with 500 years of fascinating and unexpected stories. We have even included an introductory talk for you.

MONDAY

We leave our hotel after breakfast and head for our final National Trust visit – Hidcote. Here you will find beautiful gardens themed by famous American horticulturist Major Lawrence Johnston. They also have the largest plant sales area in any National Trust location. Afterwards we make our way back towards Dorset.

After departing from local pick up points and travelling towards Essex, we continue to the village of Tiptree for a fascinating visit to Wilkin and Sons jam factory. We then continue to our well appointed hotel based in Colchester.

SATURDAY

After breakfast we join our coach and travel to one of the smallest towns in the UK – Manningtree. You will have time to explore this rather lovely town and market set on the River Stour. We then continue to Jimmy’s Farm as seen on TV. A 200-year-old barn houses a superb restaurant, allowing you to experience the full “Food to Fork” experience !

SUNDAY

After breakfast we join our coach and travel to beautiful Walton-on-the-Naze with free time to explore this lovely area. The more energetic will then have the chance to visit the viewing point at the top of the Naze Tower or why not relax in their excellent tea room. We continue the day with a visit to Clacton-on-Sea and finally some free time in Colchester.

MONDAY

After breakfast today we make our way towards the Backwater Estuary for a chance for you to step back in time and soak up the atmosphere of this unspoilt area, as seen on TV’s Countryfile. We then continue to Heybridge Basin for some splendid views from the sea wall across the Estuary and over to Osea Island before returning to drop offs.

Depart from local pick up points and travel west towards Cornwall, stopping for a chance to purchase lunch en route.

We continue to West Cornwall and our excellent hotel in Camborne.

TUESDAY

After an early breakfast we drive towards Penzance and join our ferry for the journey to the Isles of Scilly, arriving in St Mary’s. Here you will have the rest of the day free to explore this beautiful island. Why not visit the many local traditional shops and cafes, visit one of the many beaches, walk along one of the scenic coastal paths, visit the Isles of Scilly Museum, join one of the boat trips from the quay or the Island Bus Tour. Later we rejoin the ferry for our return journey back to Penzance and drive back to our hotel. Note – we cannot take our coach over to the island but you will be escorted onto the boat by our tour manager.

WEDNESDAY

After breakfast today you have a choice – relax and spend the day exploring Camborne or join us for an optional excursion. First we drive to St Ives, a beautiful Cornish harbour side town with magnificent scenery. We then continue along the coast to Lands End with free time here to enjoy the spectacular views. We also include entrance tickets for some of the Lands End attractions. We end the day at Porthleven. £25

THURSDAY

After breakfast today we rejoin our coach and explore the Lizard Peninsula. This is the most southerly part of the British mainland. Our first stop is Lizard Point owned by National Trust and infamous as a site of many past shipwrecks, it’s also one of Britain’s busiest shipping lanes. We then continue along the coast for a visit to the pretty village of Mullion, the largest village on the Lizard peninsula. Be sure to visit St Mellanus Church famed for its incredible carving and the many shops and cafes. We then rejoin the coach and make the short drive to Mullion Cove, for a short stop. We end our day with a visit to Helston, where you can explore this lively town and perhaps enjoy a Cornish cream tea before we return.

FRIDAY

We make a stop en route at Homeleigh Garden Centre, the largest garden centre in Cornwall. Here they literally sell everything. We continue our journey back to Dorset.

SUNDAY

After breakfast today we continue our journey towards Switzerland, stopping en route at beautiful Lake Lucerne for a chance for you to explore and also take advantage of one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area. We then continue our journey to Davos – located on the river Landwasser and the highest town in Europe. We have arranged a welcome drink in the hotel on your arrival.

MONDAY

After breakfast today we make the short walk to the railway station and join the Schatzalp-Bahn Funicular Railway for a spectacular journey. Why not enjoy lunch at the top in the panoramic restaurant and then visit the Alpine Garden. Return to the hotel at your leisure with some free time to explore Davos.

TUESDAY

We leave our hotel after breakfast and travel to Klosters – winter holiday destination for the Royal Family. We then continue to Chur, a charming historic town with cobbled streets, secret courtyards and a spectacular cathedral. We return via Filisur and the Albula Pass.

WEDNESDAY

Today you have a choice of either joining us for an optional excursion or exploring on your own. Today we have a completely different day for you! First we head to the beautiful city of Liechtenstein, in the country of Liechtenstein. Then in the afternoon we have a guided tour of a famous chocolate factory and if you are good you may even get some samples !! We return to the hotel in plenty of time to relax before dinner. £25

THURSDAY

After breakfast we meet at the railway station, for some of you this may be the highlight of the holiday. We join the Bernina Express and journey through spectacular mountain scenery towards Italy – passing lakes, gorges, glaciers as well as a series of loops and tunnels. You will soon realise why this is one of Europe’s greatest railway journeys. We will arrive in Tirano where you will have a little free time to explore before we meet our coach and travel back by road through spectacular scenery.

FRIDAY

A morning excursion today to elegant St Moritz. Afternoon at leisure in Davos.

SATURDAY

Leave Davos and head back towards our overnight hotel in Forbach. En route we make a suitable stop on the banks of beautiful Lake Constance, the third largest lake in Central Europe.

SUNDAY

Rejoin our coach after an early breakfast, continue through France towards the Eurotunnel and onto Dorset.

After breakfast we take a tour of the Lace Market with an amazing guide who will show you the history of the textile and lace industry and points of interest surrounding Robin Hood. Afterwards we will take you on a drive into Sherwood Forest. We visit the visitor centre from where you can take a stroll to the Major Oak where Robin and his men had a favourite hide-out. Why not have a spot of lunch and have a look at the Robin Hood gift shop. We then make our way to Rufford Abbey, a Cisternian monastery built in the 12th century. Here you can wander round the lovely park and take a short stroll around the lake. Have a cup of tea in the Victorian kitchen and look out for the squirrels, swans and swallows and browse the craft shop.

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and head out to Foreman’s Fish Island for a unique guided tour of their famous Salmon Smokehouse. After breakfast we continue our journey North making a stop at Bankfoot to visit Taste Perthshire Food with its fantastic range of souvenirs and restaurant. After breakfast we rejoin our coach and travel to Dingwall with some free time to explore this very Scottish market town before we board our train for a spectacular journey to Kyle of Lochalsh, as featured on Michael Palin’s “Great Railway Journeys of the World”. Sit back and watch the breathtaking scenery unfold before your eyes on this 2-hour unforgettable journey. After some free time to explore Kyle of Lochalsh we rejoin our coach for the picturesque journey travelling back through the beautiful scenery of Western Ross.

MONDAY

After a leisurely breakfast the day is yours to relax in the lovely surroundings of this delightful spa village. Why not visit the Old Railway Station where you will find the Highland Museum of Childhood or visit the Touchstone Maze or perhaps take a stroll along the beautiful banks of Loch Kinnellan. TUESDAY

We leave our hotel and drive towards the coast to Ullapool to board the ferry for our journey to the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Lewis. We rejoin the coach to take you for the short drive to our hotel in Stornoway.

WEDNESDAY

We rejoin the coach for a day out exploring some of the highlights of the Isle of Harris joined to the Isle of Lewis. During the day you will get incredible views of the Island of Taransay used for the BBC programme Castaway. We also cross over the bridge for a chance for you to experience the Island of Scalpay – here you will be able to explore a little and take in the breathtaking views. We also make stops at Rodel Church and Tarbert. We finish our day with a visit to the Isle of Harris Distillery.

THURSDAY

After breakfast we join our coach and begin to explore the Isle of Lewis, we include visits to the Standing Stones of Callanish – 50 ancient stones known as the most mysterious sight on the Island. We also visit Carloway Broch, a 2000-year-old fortified dry stone tower and include a visit to the reconstructed Blackhouse at Arnol, inhabited until 1965, giving a fascinating insight into the lives of the island’s past inhabitants. We also take you to the most Northerly tip of the Island – “the Butt of Lewis”. Here you will have the chance to take in the vast views of the remote landscape and hopefully capture the most incredible photographs. During the day we also make a suitable stop for you to purchase lunch.

FRIDAY

We depart our hotel early this morning and drive to Tarbert for our ferry journey to Uig, on the Isle of Skye. We then continue our journey right through the heart of the Isle of Skye. We drive over the famous Skye Bridge and make a stop at Fort William. We continue our drive through spectacular Glencoe, with suitable stops for photos en route to our overnight hotel.

SATURDAY

We leave the hotel after breakfast and join the motorway South and start our journey back towards Dorset.

Leave our hotel after breakfast and drive to Canterbury. If you love history you will love your visit here ! To help you learn a little about this great City we start our visit off with an included “Guided Punt” through Canterbury. Don’t worry though, you will have your own chauffeur ! Afterwards you are free to explore the City on your own. With so much to see and do including the Cathedral, Greyfriars Chapel and the Castle to name but a few you will be spoilt for choice ! SUNDAY

After breakfast today we join our coach and drive to the impressive Chartwell House. You will have the whole day here to explore this fabulous property. Chartwell was the much-loved Churchill family home from 1922 and the place from which Sir Winston drew inspiration until the end of his life. The rooms remain much as they were when he lived here, with pictures, books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of a great statesman, writer, painter and family man. The hillside gardens reflect Sir Winston’s love of the landscape and nature. They include the lakes he created, the kitchen garden and the Marycot, a playhouse designed for his youngest daughter Mary. We return to the hotel in plenty of time to relax before our evening meal. Again there will be all sorts of games available to play after our evening meal.

After breakfast today it is time to leave Kent and head back towards Dorset but on route we make a stop at the famous Fishbourne Roman Palace in Sussex. The palace is the largest residential Roman building discovered in Britain and has an unusually early date of 75 AD, around thirty years after the Roman conquest of Britain. Its many superb mosaic floors dating from this period make it even more exceptional. During your visit you can also join a short guided tour if you wish. There is also a restaurant for you to enjoy some lunch.

This evening after dinner we have organised a visit by Charles Hanson from the famous TV programme “Bargain Hunt”. He will be on hand to value any small item you have brought with you and to give advice on how to find that all important bargain when we visit the antiques fair later in the tour.

FRIDAY

Today we learn a little about the pottery trade for which this area has become so famous for. First we visit the World of Wedgwood, located in the heart of the potteries area. Here you will have the chance to visit the factory and also the fabulous museum, where many rare pieces are on display. We then continue to Trentham Shopping village, a unique place with almost 60 timber lodges selling an array of items from the local area and if you get bored with these you also have a huge garden centre to visit.

We leave the hotel after breakfast and drive to Stafford Antiques Fair with over 300 sellers you will have plenty of opportunity to put into practice what you learned from Charles Hanson! The fair is also completely under cover. We return to the hotel mid afternoon.

After dinner this evening we are joined again by Charles Hanson, who will value your items and decide on an overall winner.

Depart from local pick up points and travel towards Norfolk. We arrive at the hotel for a late afternoon meal before rejoining the coach after our meal and make our way to Thursford for the evening performance of this amazing show. The 3-hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing humour and variety.

MONDAY

After breakfast today we will make our way to Norwich with a whole day to explore this magnificent city. Why not visit the castle or the cathedral or do a bit of Christmas shopping.

TUESDAY

After breakfast we join our coach for a Norfolk coastal tour. We start at Hunstanton and continue onto less known places as Holkham Bay with its sand dunes and marshes, Cley with its church and windmill, Cromer and finally Mundesley.

WEDNESDAY

We leave the hotel and start the journey back to Dorset making a stop en route at the famous St Albans Christmas Market.

MONDAY

After pick ups we join the Eurotunnel train for a fast journey through to France and onto our hotel in the picturesque town of Remagen on the River Rhine.

TUESDAY

We start the day with a visit to Cochem for a very different Christmas Market famous for Gluhwein. In the afternoon we make our way to Koblenz. Koblenz Christmas Market is one of the largest in the Rheinland-Palatine wine growing region and offers all the flavours of Christmas including the famous Christmas Bakery, where Stollen and many other famous German Christmas cakes and biscuits are produced freshly in front of your eyes. Later we join a local train and take a spectacular journey following the Rhine back to Remagen.

WEDNESDAY

After breakfast today we rejoin the coach and head to Cologne for a full day at leisure in this fabulous city. Cologne is world famous for its many traditional Christmas markets and fairs and these can be found on just about every corner. While in Cologne make sure you visit the famous Cathedral where you will also find the Cathedral Christmas Market.

THURSDAY

We rejoin our coach for a visit to Rudesheim and a visit to the “Market of Nations”. Rudesheim annually welcomes over 120 stands from 12 different nations for the festivities all offering their products, delicacies and traditions in this beautiful storybook atmosphere.

FRIDAY

Today it is time to say a sad farewell to Germany and start our journey back towards the UK. En route we will make a visit to the Lindt Chocolate factory shop in Aachen where you will be able to purchase great value quality chocolate. Afterwards we continue our journey towards Calais and rejoin the Eurotunnel train.

SUNDAY

After a leisurely breakfast we rejoin our coach for an interesting day exploring some of the industry and heritage of Glasgow. A local guide will join our coach and help us learn more about the fascinating history of Glasgow. Afterwards you will have some free time to explore. Upon return to the hotel we will be met by a Scottish Piper to start the New Year Celebrations with a sumptuous afternoon tea.

MONDAY

Today we make our way to Stirling Castle – one of Scotland’s grandest castles due to it’s imposing position and impressive architecture. We return to the hotel mid afternoon for the start of the Hogmanay Celebrations – Champagne Reception, Full Military Pipe Band, Highland Dancers, a 6-course Gala Dinner and a Grand Hogmanay Ball. You are more than welcome to go for a twirl on the dance floor and a Lone Piper will be at hand to signal in the New Year. Dancing will continue into the wee hours.

TUESDAY

After a lie-in a sumptuous brunch buffet will be served with the day to spend at your leisure.

WEDNESDAY

After a leisurely breakfast we rejoin our coach for a full day in Edinburgh. Why not visit Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Yacht Britannia, Royal Mile, Royal Botanical Gardens, Holyrood Palace, Mary Kings Close or one of the many museums or grab a few bargains in the New Year Sales.

THURSDAY

After breakfast we bid farewell and start our journey back towards Dorset with a stop at Gretna Green for any last minute gifts.

SATURDAY

After an early departure, we make our way to Folkstone for our Eurotunnel journey to Calais and then onto our overnight stop in Forbach.

SUNDAY

After breakfast we will continue our journey to our destination in stunning St Wolfgang, arriving at our well-appointed hotel.

MONDAY

Today you have the whole day to explore the beautiful village of St Wolfgang located at the foot of the stunning Schafberg (sheep mountain), and the legendary site of a small monastery over 1000 years ago, which made the village a pilgrimage site from the 16th century. The marketplace in the heart of the village is where you will find the famous “White Horse Inn” and the pilgrimage church; from here there are many old narrow alleyways filled with bakeries, cafés and shops leading down to the lakeside. We have also included a horse and sleigh ride (or horse and cart, depending on the weather) this afternoon.

TUESDAY

Join us today for a scenic tour around the stunning Austrian lakes. We first make a stop on the opposite side of Lake Wolfgang in the village of St Gilgen, home to the family of the classical composer Mozart. There is a picturesque lakeside and a quaint village to explore. We have also arranged a cable car ride to the Zwolferhorn Mountain that towers over St Gilgen, the most beautiful vantage point of the Austrian lakes. We later continue on to the unspoilt shores of Lake Mondsee (moon lake) where you will find St Michael’s Basilica, the setting for the wedding scenes of the marriage between Captain Von Trapp and Maria in “The Sound of Music”. We complete our scenic tour back at St Wolfgang with time to relax before dinner. After dinner we have included an interesting torch-lit guided walk around the village with mulled wine served on our return.

WEDNESDAY

Today we will visit the elegant city of Salzburg, most famous as the birthplace of Mozart, and for many scenes filmed during “The Sound of Music”. Whilst here you may like to visit the stunning cathedral, the Mozart Museum, the Fortress or the Mirabell Palace and Gardens, or maybe take a gentle stroll through the shopping district and enjoy a leisurely lunch.

THURSDAY

After breakfast today we rejoin our coach for another scenic day. First we travel to Bad Ischl, where the Emperors of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy spent their summers with plenty of time to explore before we continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt. Here we have also included a fantastic funicular railway journey where on a clear day the views from the summit are spectacular. We return to our hotel for our final night and end our stay with a fabulous Austrian evening with a speciality buffet and live Austrian music.

FRIDAY

After an early breakfast we start our return journey through Germany and back to our overnight hotel at Forbach, with suitable stops made through the day.

SATURDAY

After breakfast we rejoin our coach and head through France rejoining the Eurotunnel and returning to Dorset.
